Joyce told me she was very fierce. Maybe that was why I did not approach her. But today she asked me for help. So I went, a little nervous.

She asked me to help her plant some, er, plants. I followed her instructions. I placed soil in some of the styrofoam cups, placed some seeds in it, watered them and other plants.

She asked me to water some plants elsewhere. I saw two small pots with very lovely plants on it.

"These are beautiful"
"You can take one. I can give it to you."
"No, it's akay. You are going to sell it."
"No, take it."

Then she said I can leave her alone and go back to take care of another patient. She asked for my name and as I left, she said,

"Thank you, Dorothy."

I was so touched.
